Parents - and especially children - need you now! There's a great demand for trained, qualified child care workers. Finding a part-time position while still in the program should be no problem, and after graduation the sky's the limit.
Students work with children ages 1 through 6 and obtain the skills and 600 clock hours needed to qualify for a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential and Indiana Professional Development System (IPDS) certificates.
This course includes intensive child care and preschool laboratory experiences, resume and portfolio preparation, and information on management and operation of private child care facilities. Child Care Services also is a good first step for students wanting to pursue a college degree and a career as an elementary school teacher. |
